NFL EUROPE AMSTERDAM ADMIRALS
Introducing a new sport in a challenging market and building a professional sports franchise. Implemented a new business plan, repositioned the organization and oversaw an internal restructure. Developed an innovative template for sports marketing and instigated several new sponsorships and joint promotions, as well as a firm grassroots- and community service program and several strategic alliances within media- and business partners.
In the season the 20 front office staff members were joined by 60 American players, coaches and staff for a 4-month period and 120 Day Of Game staff were employed during the events. An average of 12.000 fans visited the Amsterdam Arena and an all time high of 32.000 fans visited the NFL Europe final held in 2001.
