FIFA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL PUBLIC VIEWING
The concept and organization of the public viewing of the FIFA world championship final between Netherlands and Spain in the city center of Rotterdam. In cooperation with Rotterdam based agency JMR, we not only arranged the biggest day-light LED screen and a pre-game program with DJ’s and plenty of food & beverage, but also ran the biggest public prank by putting the screen on black just before teams entered the field; fitting the campaign ‘Even Apeldoorn bellen’ for one of the largest insurance companies in the country.
After going live again, 30.000 people enjoyed the final that was unfortunately lost by the Dutch. However, the media attention for the main sponsor, was overwhelming.
